Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lecturer in English Language to join our team at Protocol National Limited. This part-time role involves teaching adults Functional Skills English for 9 hours a week, spread over 2 days. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping adult learners achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills English lessons to adult learners.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to adult education.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in teaching adults Functional Skills English.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire adult learners.
  • Commitment to maintaining high educational standards and continuous professional development.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
  • Knowledge of current educational practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
