Role Overview: As a Lead Commercial Surveyor, you will oversee the commercial project team, providing essential support on all financial aspects of the project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining comprehensive commercial information and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Monitoring contract progress in alignment with established timelines.
  • Controlling expenditures against approved budgets and forecasts.
  • Preparing and negotiating interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Formulating and agreeing on claims for reimbursements and loss of expenses.
  • Engaging with clients and third parties regarding all commercial issues.

Dispute Resolution: As a senior professional in this role, you will be vigilant about potential dispute resolution implications and will contribute to the enhancement of quality, health and safety, welfare, and risk management practices on-site.

Advisory Role: You will provide strategic advice to the project leadership team, ensuring that commercial objectives are consistently achieved.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be a seasoned quantity surveyor with a proven track record of leading teams on commercial projects exceeding £10 million.
