Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at ARC (Norwich) Limited. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that costs are controlled and value for money is achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Prepare and submit reports, including cost reports, progress reports, and final accounts
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the property maintenance and repair sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety legislation, and other relevant industry standards
