Senior Credit Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Manager to join our team at MERJE. As a Senior Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of credit risk professionals and developing credit risk policies and related standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead a team of credit risk professionals to identify and mitigate credit risk.
- Collaborate with the Head of Credit Risk to develop credit strategies based on credit scores and cost of risk.
- Provide oversight and assurance to the Executive and Board that credit risk is being managed within risk appetite.
- Work closely with the Manager Credit Risk to compare lending approaches to peers and identify areas where credit risk could be developing.
Requirements:
- Numerical background and strong analytical skills.
- Experience of credit risk management within a secured lender.
- Experience with analytical software, e.g., SQL, Python.
- A solid grounding in data analysis using quantitative analytic tools and good research skills.
