Senior Credit Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Manager to join our team at MERJE. As a Senior Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing credit risk policies and procedures to ensure the company's risk appetite is met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain credit risk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide second-line oversight of credit risk management, including reviewing and approving credit risk models and stress testing.
- Work closely with the Head of Credit Risk to develop credit strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Financial Risk Manager to ensure climate risks are within appetite.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Executive and Board.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to the Executive and Board on credit risk performance.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in credit risk management, preferably in a secured lender.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
