Job Title: Building Surveyor

MMP Consultancy is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our team in Westminster. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing surveying and repairing contracts and contractors, ensuring the highest quality of work and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage surveying and repairing contracts and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  2. Conduct site visits to inspect completed works, specify or respecify works as necessary, and identify further works required.
  3. Collaborate with surveying contractors to conduct joint surveys of homes, communal areas, and external aspects of blocks.
  4. Monitor and report on surveying and repairing performance, including creating monitoring and performance reports.
  5. Authorise payments to contractors for responsive repairs and manage contractor meetings.
  6. Respond to resident and contractor queries, and review feedback from resident satisfaction surveys.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in managing surveying and repairing contracts and contractors.
  2. Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and experience in managing repairs performance using KPIs and cost measures.
  3. Advanced user of MRI Housing (Orchard) with ability to operate the system proficiently.
  4. RICS, CIOB, or equivalent building surveying qualifications or equivalent experience.

Important Note: The hiring manager is looking for a Surveyor who is technically sound, can give technical advice, and has experience in managing repairs contractors, working as part of a small team, and post-inspecting and reporting on the quality of repairs.

Salary: £379.
