Helpdesk Team Leader

Location:
Oldham, Manchester

Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 DOE


Our client, a reputable Managed Service Provider in the heart of Oldham, is seeking a Helpdesk Team Leader to oversee a team of 4 help desk engineers.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support to their client base, while also guiding and supporting your team to ensure they are maximising their potential.


This opportunity would be ideal for a Senior Support Engineer looking to take on a team lead position or someone with team lead experience.


Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the team, providing guidance and support to ensure they are maximising their potential
Help shape the development of the company and structure of the team
Provide user support to SME's
Troubleshoot networking problems
Produce procedural documentation, helping technicians with 'how-to' guides.
Ensure that IT support services are delivered in a timely and effective manner, meeting agreed SLA's
Monitor and review service levels and ensure KPI's are met

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clientsTechnical Skills:
Good understanding of IT infrastructure and networking technologies
Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365
Proficient in troubleshooting techniques and problem solving
Experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V)
