About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Mentor to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with learning disabilities, including SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help with their learning due to their needs.
  • Work closely with teachers to adapt and tailor learning to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, colleagues, and parents/carers to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting students.
  • Use positive behaviour management techniques to encourage students to demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviours.
Requirements
  • Calm and resilient approach when dealing with challenging situations.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to engage with students and staff.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the classroom and students.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and SEN.
  • Passion for supporting students with learning disabilities.
