About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business IT Transformation Specialist to join our IT Service Management team.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in our Bournemouth office, with the remaining time worked from home. We offer a flexible working arrangement, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.

As a Business IT Transformation Specialist, you will be responsible for defining policy and standards for Change workflows, assessing the impacts and risks of changes, and making decisions on behalf of the business.

You will also act as an escalation point for Change requesters, approvers, and business stakeholders, publishing and managing the forward schedule of IT changes affecting the UK business.

Additionally, you will be responsible for enforcing induction training of the Change Process for new starters, ensuring full adherence to policies and processes from all support, product, and development teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining policy and standards for Change workflows
  • Assessing the impacts and risks of changes
  • Acting as an escalation point for Change requesters, approvers, and business stakeholders
  • Publishing and managing the forward schedule of IT changes
  • Enforcing induction training of the Change Process

Requirements:

  • ITIL Foundation and Practitioner qualifications
  • ITIL Service Transition certification
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Change Management
  • Significant IT experience in the insurance sector
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in Project and Visio
