About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Footasylum. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the store's operations, including managing stock, controlling budgets, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Contribute to the development of the store's visual merchandising and display standards, ensuring that the store looks appealing and inviting to customers.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Knowledge of the fashion retail industry and current trends.
