Main Duties of the Job

As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care plans. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in new areas, including IV training and management of in-patients and outpatients.

Person Specification
  • Degree level education or equivalent knowledge and skills through any combination of alternative study, or employment experience
  • Professional UK registration e.g. NMC, HPC
  • Computer literate
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD) clearly recorded for professional profile
  • Completed clinical placements in a variety of areas
  • Knowledge of the management of in-patients and outpatients including evidence based strategies
  • Knowledge and experience of a range of approaches to the management of patients utilising clinical reasoning
  • Multidisciplinary team working
  • Understanding of Health Environment policies and legislation including Clinical, HR, E&D, Governance
