International Export Sales Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to build on strong existing business relationships and establish a new orientation for international sales across children's and adult lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take strategic day-to-day responsibility for the Export side of the business, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Grow existing accounts and develop new partnerships across the world (excluding the USA and Canada).
  • Manage and analyse changing market trends, and adapt and develop existing products to optimise sales in export markets.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing warehoused book sales into export territories, managing budgets, and analysing changing market trends.
  • Possess a contact list of international customers, as well as confidence in building relationships with new accounts.
  • Confidence attending and organising book fairs, and adapting and developing existing products to optimise sales in export markets.

This crucial role in the sales team will be well suited to an experienced Sales Manager or an exceptional Sales Executive who has solid experience in international book selling, intuitive business development skills, natural excellence in collaborating with wider teams, and crucially an ability to be strategic as well as delivering hands-on selling.
