HR Advisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a 6-month contract. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in leading and supporting large-scale organisational change. Your strong background in managing complex HR processes, change, and development initiatives will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead HR Aspects of Organisational Change: You will lead the HR aspects of organisational change, including potential restructuring and redundancies, ensuring a smooth transition for staff.
  • Develop Staff Engagement Strategy: You will develop and implement a comprehensive staff engagement strategy to effectively communicate the change process, ensuring consistent and transparent communication to support staff through the transition.
  • Job Evaluation and Redeployment: You will draft new job descriptions where necessary and manage the job evaluation process to ensure all roles are correctly aligned with the new structure.
  • Cultural Change and Training: You will lead efforts to address cultural change, staff training, and other necessary interventions to ensure the workforce is aligned with the new organisational direction.
Essential Skills:
  • Proven Experience in HR Change Management: You will have proven experience in HR change management within a large organisation, preferably in a public sector or local authority setting.
  • Strong Knowledge of Organisational Reorganisation: You will have strong knowledge of organisational reorganisation, including managing redundancies, job evaluations, and redeployment processes.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • UK Employment Law Knowledge: You will have knowledge of UK employment law, particularly around redundancies and reorganisations.
Package:
  • £400 per day umbrella: You will receive a competitive daily rate of £400 per day, paid through an umbrella company.
  • 6-month contract role: The contract is for 6 months, providing a fixed-term opportunity to make a significant impact.
  • Hybrid working: You will have the flexibility to work from home or in the office, depending on your preference.
