**Job Summary**

Office Shoes is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Merchandiser to support the Merchandising team in planning and executing sales strategies across Ladies and Men's MTO departments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the Merchandising team in trading the department, including forecasting sales, updating and managing linecards, placing repeats, and planning markdowns.
  • Collaborate with the Buying team to plan future ranges, focusing on maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Produce and analyze daily and weekly reports to inform Merchandising team decisions.
  • Take ownership of all allocations and distribution on the department, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing overstocking.
  • Work closely with stores to ensure stock packages maximize sales potential and that stores are not overstocked, particularly focusing on flagship stores, German stores, the website, and concessions.
  • Plan options by grade to prevent over-optioning in stores.
  • Manage weekly intake on the department.
  • Support, develop, and train the allocator to ensure they meet department and individual objectives.
  • Present figures, provide information, and contribute to meetings.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
