Role Responsibilities:
- As a Lead Care Support Specialist, you will mentor and collaborate with a team of Care Assistants to ensure the delivery of exceptional care at all times.
- You will report directly to the Home Manager and work closely with ancillary teams and fellow Senior Care Providers.
- Engaging residents in meaningful activities while promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect will be a core part of your role.
- Your participation in developing personalized care plans and conducting risk assessments will be essential for the effective delivery of outstanding care, with regular updates and reviews required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant, holding an NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or three years' experience without an NVQ.
- Prior experience in a nursing or care home setting or as a home care worker.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, particularly the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Knowledge and experience working with individuals with dementia is highly desirable.
- You should be an enthusiastic, inspiring, and compassionate individual who is passionate about providing quality care.
