Job Opportunity: Training Programme Director in Neurosurgery

NHS England is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant to take on the role of Training Programme Director in Neurosurgery. This is a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of the Core Surgical training programme and contribute to the development of the future healthcare workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of School to lead the delivery of the Core Surgical training programme
  • Focus on improvement of learner supervision, assessment, and experience
  • Engage faculty and ensure effective educational outcomes
  • Develop multi-professional links and contribute to whole workforce transformation

Requirements:

  • Experience as an NHS Consultant with a thorough understanding of specialty training
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-professional team

What We Offer:

  • A fixed level of funding contribution of £5,000 per annum
  • The opportunity to work with a dedicated team and contribute to the development of the future healthcare workforce
