About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at PSR. As a Category Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and cost optimization through strategic sourcing and procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of a category strategy for assigned spend categories, balancing short and long-term objectives to meet business strategy and efficiencies.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Prepare and execute the RFx process in collaboration with stakeholders, including supplier evaluation and selection, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
  • Contract Management: Assist in the preparation and execution of contracts that meet the scope, value, and risk outlined in the sourcing strategy, ensuring all relevant stakeholders have contributed and approved as appropriate.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Manage suppliers segmented and managed (quality, performance, risk) in accordance with the PSR Supplier Relationship Management Framework.
  • Commercial Risk Management: Assist in the management of commercial risks, forecast spend, and change impacts with key stakeholders.
  • Business Intelligence and Benchmarking: Conduct business intelligence and supplier market analysis, benchmark potential suppliers, and provide market insight to support category development.
