We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Compliance Senior Specialist to join our Procurement Governance & Excellence (PG&E) team within Leonardo Helicopters.
Job Summary:This role is part of the wider Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) function and is a cross-geographical team that interfaces with all P&SC units. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing common rules and practices, improving processes and systems, supporting audit with internal and external authorities, and providing KPI and data sets to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Deploy specialist knowledge to deliver Compliance Monitoring and Procedure objectives, defining P&SC processes and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all requirements at Division and Corporate levels.
- Manage the risk management process for P&SC, facilitating and acting as a UK POC, interacting with other departments to ensure the company is aligned and working towards being ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Possible).
- Work collaboratively with the cross-geographical PG&E team to create and maintain published procedures covering P&SC business life-cycle processes.
- Provide procedural training and support to the P&SC community, addressing and mitigating audit non-conformance and promoting best practice.
- Ensure P&SC compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, considering the A&D industry.
- Act as a local Point Of Contact (POC) for all UK-related audits on P&SC, both internal and external.
- Support in preparation and execution for internal and external audits (law 262, law 231, quality, corporate, customer audits, etc.).
- Manage and monitor findings and closures from both internal and external audits.
- Analyse year-end audit results, creating and communicating the following year's schedule.
- Organise and execute departmental process adherence audits and data compliance checks, ensuring adherence to internal procedures and relevant regulations (AS9100, etc.).
- Act as the local POC and Coordinator for P&SC Risk Management Activities (such as Bowtie).
- Manage UK release strategy and delegation change/increase requests.
- Monitor add and remove UK call-off contracts, along with complete compliance checks.
- Education to degree level or qualified by experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience working within the Procurement & Supply Chain and/or Quality environment.
- Proven experience as a compliance manager or auditor or procedure specialist.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping.
- Methodical and diligent with good planning abilities.
- An analytical mind able to 'see' the complexities of procedures and regulations.
- Understanding of best practice procurement techniques and processes.
- Languages: English, Italian is a plus.
- A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
- Resilient.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work unsupervised and can operate well as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, able to identify and drive key issues relating to Cost, Quality, and Schedule.
