About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join our team at Company of Cooks. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create innovative and seasonal menus that meet the expectations of our clients and customers.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor a large kitchen team to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional food and service.
  • Financial Management: Work with the Head Chef to plan menus and prepare food to minimize waste and ensure budgetary targets are met.
  • Food Sourcing: Ensure that food is sourced from local producers and meets the highest standards of quality and provenance.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and seek feedback to continuously improve the food and service offering.
Requirements
  • Experience: Significant experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in the contract catering industry.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a large kitchen team.
  • Culinary Skills: Up-to-date knowledge of local food trends and culinary techniques.
  • Food Quality: Ability to demonstrate the highest level of food quality and safety.
