Technip Energies Abu Dhabi is a premier engineering and technology firm, dedicated to delivering transformative projects that enhance client performance. Our comprehensive expertise encompasses a full spectrum of design and project development services, from initial engagement through to successful delivery.

We are currently seeking a Public Relations and Communication Coordinator to support our project team. This role involves fostering relationships with local communities and public authorities while managing onsite communication strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a relationship mapping framework, conducting an initial communication assessment, providing recommendations, and developing an advocacy strategy.

Job Scope

Your Mission

1. Public Relations
  • Collaborate with the Project Director and the Head of Communications to design a comprehensive advocacy strategy tailored to project needs.
  • Communicate key project messages to public authorities, local communities, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify optimal channels for consistent messaging to safeguard the project and consortium's interests.
  • Align advocacy efforts with partner actions to ensure cohesive communication.
  • Establish a clear communication framework, detailing types, formats, and distribution methods for various communication categories.
2. External Communication
  • Act as the liaison for external communication approvals between partners and clients to ensure a seamless process.
  • Organize monthly communication meetings with clients to discuss external communication strategies.
  • Craft key messages for external project communications in collaboration with project teams.
  • Disseminate guidelines for external communication practices within the project.
  • Contribute to the development and approval of the crisis communication plan.
3. Internal Communication
  • Provide internal communication support to project leadership.
  • Assess communication needs of strategic project leaders and propose tailored actions.
  • Create a supporting internal calendar to ensure timely dissemination of communications and events.
  • Implement onsite communication initiatives and campaigns focused on key topics.
  • Proactively identify upcoming communication topics in collaboration with project teams.
  • Encourage innovative communication topics and initiatives.
  • Foster effective communication practices and synergies within the project.
  • Assist in producing project videos and photo documentation.
  • Organize project-related events, both in-person and virtual.
  • Oversee the production of the project’s quarterly newsletter.
  • Ensure all project content adheres to the established graphic and editorial standards.
  • Manage the project’s dedicated photo library.
Your Main Objectives
  • Enhance the project's visibility among local stakeholders.
  • Safeguard the reputation of the project and consortium.
  • Strengthen team cohesion by showcasing achievements through the communication plan.
  • Share significant project milestones with international teams using established communication channels.
  • Ensure the project is positively represented within the Technip Energies group, highlighting key achievements.
  • Report to the Project Directorate while maintaining a functional relationship with the Head of Public Affairs and Communication.
  • Collaborate closely with the Local Content Manager.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project work, demonstrating creativity, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit. A desire to thrive in an international setting and navigate complex organizational structures is essential.

Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in Public Relations and communication (5-8 years preferred)
- Strong teamwork capabilities with an appreciation for diverse personalities and cultures
- Detail-oriented and structured, able to deliver results under tight deadlines
- Proficient in editorial, digital, and event communication
- Quick to grasp technical and complex subjects
- Excellent English writing skills across various formats: news articles, social media posts, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of video production and graphic design
