We are looking for a Public Relations and Communication Coordinator to become an integral part of our Project team. This role will focus on fostering relationships with local communities and public authorities while managing onsite communication efforts. You will be tasked with creating a relationship mapping strategy, conducting an initial communication assessment, providing recommendations, and developing an advocacy plan.

Job Scope

Your mission

1. Public Relations
  • Collaborate with the Project Director and the Head of Communications.
  • Develop an advocacy strategy in alignment with client objectives.
  • Convey key project messages to public authorities, local communities, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify effective channels for consistent messaging to safeguard the project and consortium.
  • Align advocacy efforts with partner actions as necessary.
  • Create a clear communication framework outlining types, formats, and distribution requirements for various communication categories.
2. External Communication
  • Act as the liaison for external communication approvals between partners and clients.
  • Organize monthly communication meetings with clients for external communication approvals.
  • Draft key messages for external project communications.
  • Disseminate guidelines for external communication within the project.
  • Contribute to the crisis communication plan's messaging and approval process.
3. Internal Communication
  • Support internal communication needs for project leadership.
  • Assess communication requirements of strategic project leaders and propose relevant actions.
  • Establish a calendar to ensure timely internal communications and events.
  • Implement onsite communication initiatives and campaigns on key topics.
  • Proactively identify upcoming communication topics in collaboration with project teams.
  • Encourage new communication initiatives and practices.
  • Assist in producing project videos and photo content.
  • Coordinate project events, both in-person and remote.
  • Oversee the creation of the project’s quarterly newsletter.
  • Ensure project content adheres to the graphic and editorial standards.
  • Manage the dedicated project photo library.
Your main objectives
  • Enhance the project's visibility among local stakeholders.
  • Safeguard the reputation of the project and consortium.
  • Foster a sense of belonging by showcasing team achievements through the communication plan.
  • Share significant project milestones with international teams using established communication channels.
  • Ensure the project is positively represented within the Technip Energies group, highlighting key achievements.
  • Report to the Project Directorate while maintaining a functional report to the Head of Public Affairs and Communication.
  • Collaborate closely with the Local Content Manager.
Requirements

We seek candidates with a strong background in project work, creativity, and a collaborative spirit. You should thrive in an international setting and possess the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.

Your qualifications include:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in Public Relations and communication.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to engage with diverse personalities and cultures.
- Detail-oriented and structured, capable of delivering results under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in editorial, digital, and event communication.
- Ability to quickly understand technical and complex subjects.
- Excellent English writing skills for various formats including news articles and social media.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Basic knowledge of video production and graphic design, with the ability to draft creative briefs.

This role requires mobility and will be based in a dynamic project environment.
