Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will deliver effective, comprehensive, and confidential administrative and/or project support on a daily basis. You will be expected to prioritize tasks effectively and ensure that all deadlines are consistently met.

This position is full-time; however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working arrangements. Responsibilities include assisting teams with business inquiries, engaging in project-related tasks, compiling reports and data, facilitating meetings and events, coordinating schedules and venues, gathering agenda items and supporting documents, and producing minutes and action logs relevant to these activities. The post holder will also collaborate as a proactive team member to ensure that all administrative, data, and project-related tasks are managed efficiently across the organization.

About Our Organization

With a substantial budget and a dedicated workforce, we serve millions of individuals across the North East and North Cumbria. In addition to our strategic functions, ICB personnel work at the local level with health and wellbeing boards in each of our local authority areas. Our teams collaborate closely with primary care networks, which consist of local GP practices, social care teams, and other community-based providers. The ICB also partners with our Provider Collaborative, which includes multiple NHS foundation trusts in the region to fulfill our shared objectives.

Job Duties

- Provide effective, comprehensive, and confidential administrative and/or project support on a daily basis.
- Maintain awareness of work priorities and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Assist teams with business inquiries, including project-related tasks, report compilation, meeting facilitation, and event coordination.
- Collaborate as an effective team member to ensure that all administrative, data, and project work priorities are addressed across the organization.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential
- Advanced keyboard proficiency.
- Ability to travel independently as required for the role.
- Significant experience in business support and knowledge of relevant processes or procedures.
- Proven experience in providing project/business-level support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote.

Desirable
- Familiarity with project management software.
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of Oracle procurement systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

Essential
- RSA/NVQ level 3 or equivalent relevant experience.
