Essential Consulting Skills:

  • Ability to offer well-considered, clearly articulated, and practical solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Proven track record of prioritizing tasks, meeting project deadlines, and achieving results.
  • Skill in conveying complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in team management and deliverable oversight.
  • Vendor and product evaluation and selection.
  • Assessment of applications for technical suitability for cloud migration.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Cloud Architecture & Engineering:

  • Proficiency in cloud technologies and services (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform / OCI).
  • Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Rocket) and orchestration engines (Kubernetes / OpenShift / Rancher / Swarm).
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code development (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, ARM, GCP CDM).
  • Familiarity with cloud automation tools, including Continuous Integration & Deployment.
  • Understanding of DevOps philosophies and toolchains.
  • Experience in managing Linux and Windows systems using automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of application deployment and testing toolchains.
  • Awareness of security and performance considerations for digital systems.
  • Experience in defining technical and non-functional requirements for clients.
  • Cloud environment design and implementation.

Cloud Consulting:

  • Guiding clients through the complete journey of cloud infrastructure and engineering.
  • Formulating and executing a Cloud Strategy and Operating Model aligned with business and technology strategies.
  • Developing business cases for cloud investment.
  • Selecting appropriate products and services for solutions.
  • Leading project meetings and architecting solutions.
  • Understanding key cloud technologies and challenges.
  • Providing insights on how cloud technology influences emerging trends.
  • Building relationships and maintaining market leadership with key integration vendors.
  • Collaborating effectively within diverse teams in an inclusive culture.

Technical Documentation:

  • Translating architectural concepts into technical documents for engineering and development teams.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation for network systems.
  • Managing technical decision-making processes and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
