About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Technical Consultant to join our team of sustainability experts. As a Principal Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to construction professionals on products, systems, and applications within the built environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision of SAP assessments and EPCs to ensure our clients achieve compliance with Part L and EPCs are issued in a timely manner
- Providing expert and professional advice to construction professionals on products, systems, and applications within the built environment
- Producing Fabric heat loss calculations such as U-values and thermal bridging
- Heat and moisture analysis
- Energy assessments of new-build dwellings using the 'Standard Assessment Procedure' and the 'Future Homes Standard: Home Energy Model'
Requirements:
- Qualified OCDEA with experience in the built environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop relationships with clients and other members of staff
- Experience in writing sustainability reports and strategies
- Working knowledge of planning and Part L building regulations
