Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Workforce Partner to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our business objectives by providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of workforce management.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to take on a challenging and rewarding role that will leverage your expertise in employee relations, organisational change, and HR service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Organisational Change: Work closely with senior leaders to design and implement strategic workforce interventions that drive business effectiveness and service quality.
  • Provide Expert HR Advice: Offer timely and professional guidance to resolve complex employment relations issues and manage HR caseloads.
  • Lead HR Service Delivery: Manage a team of HR staff to ensure the provision of an excellent HR service, including recruitment, appraisal, and performance management.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide HR and business-related advice on workforce aspects of service transfer or new service implementation.
  • HR Policy and Practice: Develop and implement HR policies and practices that align with business objectives and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training courses on all aspects of people management for managers and other stakeholders.
  • HR Systems and Reporting: Manage effective HR information systems for timely and accurate database management and reporting.
  • Specialist HR Service Provision: Manage a delegated budget and be responsible for one or more specialist areas of HR service provision.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Qualifications: Degree level qualification or equivalent / Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management or equivalent.
  • CIPD Qualification: CIPD qualified or significant demonstrable experience.
  • HR Experience: Extensive experience in an HR generalist role and providing specialist HR advice on complex employee relation matters.
  • Policy Development: Experience in writing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidance notes.
  • Employment Law: Sound knowledge of up-to-date employment law and related legislation.
  • Change Management: Demonstrable experience in practical change management techniques and partnership working.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HR Information systems.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Travel: Ability to travel independently as required.
