About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our Scotland Infrastructure, Projects & Energy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on complex infrastructure, energy, and utilities projects.

About the Team

Our Infrastructure, Projects & Energy team is one of the most established and respected teams in the industry. We have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advice to clients across a range of sectors, including energy, transport, and public sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on commercial contracts relating to energy, infrastructure, transport, and public sector transactions.
  • Provide strategic commercial and procurement advice at all stages of procurement.
  • Deliver public sector infrastructure projects under supervision.
  • Work closely with existing clients to maintain and develop relationships.
  • Collaborate with the team to execute large-scale, high-value client matters.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of PQE experience in Infrastructure, Projects & Energy or Commercial Contracts.
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to find solutions to clients' legal challenges.
  • Experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
  • Maintain efficient diary and task management.
  • Confidence in drafting clear and legally effective documents.
  • Remain calm and optimistic in time-sensitive situations.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
