About the Role

We are seeking an Associate to join our Scotland Infrastructure, Projects and Energy team, providing expert advice to clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on commercial contracts related to energy, infrastructure, transport, and public-private sector transactions.
  • Provide strategic commercial and procurement advice at all stages of procurement.
  • Deliver public sector infrastructure projects under supervision.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to execute large-scale, high-value client matters.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of PQE experience in Infrastructure, Projects and Energy or Commercial Contracts.
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to find solutions to clients' legal challenges.
  • Experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
  • Efficient diary and task management.
  • Confidence in drafting clear and legally effective documents.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
