Role Overview:

As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of our care home. This includes managing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.   1. Manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring a high standard of care and service.
  2. Lead, support, and develop the care team, promoting a positive and effective working environment.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, maintaining excellent care standards.
  4. Oversee the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they meet individual resident needs and are regularly reviewed.
  5. Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve financial and operational targets.
  6. Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective care strategies to meet the needs of residents.
  2. Manage and motivate a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Manage budgets and resources to achieve financial and operational targets.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar setting, ideally with a large care provider.
  2. In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and care requirements.
  3. Commitment to delivering outstanding care and fostering a positive, resident-focused environment.
  4. Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
