Job Title: Paralegal Recoveries Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support the settlement of claims within our successful Subrogation and Recovery team. The ideal candidate will have previous Litigation experience, handling sensitive and confidential information, ideally gained within the Claimant Insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be assigned your own caseload of claims to manage, from pre-litigation to final settlement. This will involve drafting court proceedings, relevant legal documentation, and gathering information through client and witness interactions. Effective negotiation is key, requiring factual and legal research, evidence gathering, and creating a clear case plan for approval by a supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Previous Litigation experience with handling sensitive information
  • Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders
  • Flexibility to support senior fee earners and share workload
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Responsiveness to change and change management
  • Good time management and IT skills
