Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). As a key member of our Estates team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in a construction-related field, such as architecture, engineering, or project management.
  • Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software, such as Primavera or MS Project.
