About the Role:

The successful Electronic Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to customers, answering technical questions, and performing fault diagnosis for a range of products including motion control and/or actuators. This will involve setting up and programming PLC's, motor drivers, and industrial communications, as well as creating and delivering training courses and operating manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  2. Answer technical questions and provide solutions to customers.
  3. Perform fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for a range of products.
  4. Set up and program PLC's, motor drivers, and industrial communications.
  5. Create and deliver training courses and operating manuals.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline such as Electronics or Mechatronics.
  2. 1+ years' experience in a related field, such as industrial design, support, or testing.
  3. Knowledge of various electronic applications, including Electric Motion Control for industrial applications.
  4. Experience with PLC's and ladder or Structured Text programming.
  5. Familiarity with industrial communications protocols such as EtherNet IP, PROFINET, and/or IO-Link.
  6. Full driving license and passport holder.
