Resident Liaison Officer

Our client, a well-established main contractor, is seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a permanent basis in the Sussex area.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing positive relationships with residents to provide information and support during various construction projects, including kitchen and bathroom replacements, window replacements, re-roofing, and retrofit works.

You will play a crucial role in preventing and limiting dissatisfaction, resolving complaints and queries efficiently, and working closely with a public sector client.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent people skills, confident oral and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Previous experience in resident liaison and planned maintenance within the social housing sector is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents
  2. Provide information and support during construction projects
  3. Prevent and limit dissatisfaction
  4. Resolve complaints and queries efficiently
  5. Work closely with a public sector client
  6. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Excellent people skills
  • Confident oral and written communication skills
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders
  • Previous experience in resident liaison
  • Planned maintenance experience within the social housing sector
