2nd Line Support Engineer

VIQU Limited is a prominent player in the financial services sector, committed to providing exceptional solutions to its clientele. We are currently in the midst of a significant domain transition due to a recent merger and are in search of a proficient 2nd Line Support Engineer to facilitate this process. Your role will involve collaborating with users in the financial domain, aiding them in configuring their laptops within the new domain, and ensuring a smooth transition while offering continuous support after the migration.

The ideal candidate for the 2nd Line Support Engineer position will possess experience in environments undergoing mergers and will have a solid background in supporting tenant-tenant/domain migrations in previous roles.

This position necessitates the 2nd Line Support Engineer to be present onsite five days a week.

Additionally, there will be occasional travel to various locations across the UK, with all expenses covered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Windows 10/11: Administration and Support
  • Office 365: Administration and Support
  • Active Directory: Experience required
  • User Setup:
    • Assist users in configuring their laptops in the new domain.
    • Ensure all user settings, applications, and data are accurately migrated.
    • Provide comprehensive guidance and support to users throughout the transition.
  • Ongoing Support:
    • Deliver continuous technical support post-migration.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to connectivity, application access, or user profiles.
    • Work collaboratively with 3rd line support and other IT teams to address complex issues.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Maintain thorough records of user interactions and resolutions.
    • Create and update user guides and documentation to facilitate the transition.
    • Conduct training sessions to help users acclimate to the new domain environment.
  • Occasional travel to various sites across the UK, with expenses covered.

This role is fully onsite.
