Clinical Psychologist for Adults with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our specialist Psychology Team in Bournemouth, working with adults with Learning Disabilities. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide assessment, formulation, and treatment to adults with learning disabilities who have a range of psychological conditions. We use a variety of therapy specialties, including EMDR, CAT, ACT, and CBT.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients. We are committed to providing excellent clinical supervision and opportunities for professional development. If you are newly qualified, we offer a comprehensive Preceptorship Programme from Band 7 to Band 8a for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, formulation, and treatment to adults with learning disabilities
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and provide reports as required
- Participate in clinical supervision and peer review
- Postgraduate doctorate in clinical psychology or equivalent
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
- Knowledge of legislation and policy related to adults with learning disabilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
