About the Role

Talent Torch is seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Director of Ecology to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing a successful ecology business, reporting directly to the Director of Ecology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing ecology and biodiversity team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive growth and revenue.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Client Management: Provide exceptional client service, managing expectations and delivering value to our clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and policy, applying your knowledge and expertise to drive business success.
Requirements
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in ecology and biodiversity.
  • MCIEEM, CEcol, or CEnv certification preferred.
  • Leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and client management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead by example.
