About the Role

Talent Torch is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Environmental Impact Assessment to join our team. As a key member of our environmental consultancy, you will play a crucial role in shaping our clients' sustainability strategies and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage environmental impact assessments for large-scale infrastructure projects, including energy and transportation initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective EIA strategies, ensuring compliance with UK planning legislation and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert advice on environmental sustainability and impact assessment.
  • Manage and coordinate EIA projects, including screening, scoping, and the preparation of Environmental Statements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or master's in environmental science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental consultancy, with a focus on EIA and sustainability.
  • Expertise in energy, infrastructure, and EIA planning, with a deep understanding of the UK's planning system.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at senior levels.
