About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Planning Associate Director to join our team at Lanpro. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for leading and managing environmental planning projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage environmental planning projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental planning matters, including EIA, planning policy, and legislation.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of junior team members, providing training and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in environmental planning legislation, policy, and best practice, and apply this knowledge to inform project delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or masters in environmental science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental planning, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
