About the Role

Lidl is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience across all our stores. As a Deputy Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in achieving this goal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
  • Drive a target-driven approach to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), focusing on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the store team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Maintain exceptional shop floor presentation, ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment for customers.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are consistently maintained, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to customer needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Full driving license, with a valid UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • The flexibility to work varying shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager is preferred, but not essential if you have the right attitude and skills.

What We Offer

Lidl offers a competitive salary, with a starting rate of £28,000 rising to £37,000 after 3 years. You will also receive:
