The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive image of the business externally and internally. Your primary focus will be on ensuring all aspects of compliance are upheld in the delivery of research projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Research Franchise standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support and guidance to operational leads in each research business to ensure compliance with all aspects of research projects.
  • Assist in the gathering of internal information in response to client requests, RFIs, or audits and ensure a consistent response to such requests.
  • Collaborate with employees to educate them on legislation and regulations and their impact on the organization.
  • Support 4 direct reports in their career development and progression.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant compliance experience, preferably in the market research industry.
  • A practitioner's Certificate in Data Protection or a minimum of Level 3 Data Protection training, CIPP/E, or CIPM, or equivalent training for GDPR compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in process review and improvement, with the ability to identify weaknesses and implement tangible changes.
  • Experience in client audits, SAE, SUSAR, and PSUR processes.
