Job Description

Envision Racing, a leading Formula E team, is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development group, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the on-track performance of our racing operations through the development of in-house software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom software tools to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making capabilities of our race team.
  • Collaborate with our Senior Engineer to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance our software development processes.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable, and multi-threaded applications using Python and other relevant technologies.
  • Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and HTML, with experience in professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, database systems, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with GraphQL, FastAPI, MongoDB, C#, and.NET.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Passion for the motorsport industry, with a basic understanding of its principles and practices.
