Job Description

Envision Racing Formula E is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Software Engineering group, you will be responsible for improving the on-track performance of our racing operations through in-house software development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain custom off-car software tools to enhance work efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making for the race team.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineer and other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Ensure adherence to professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing.
  • Support DevOps efforts with knowledge of Kubernetes and database systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and Pythonic idioms.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices.
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Vue.js, GraphQL, FastAPI, MongoDB, C#, and.NET.
