Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Andretti Cadillac. As a key member of our Control Systems group, you will be responsible for the development of car embedded software and supporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of car embedded software, capturing requirements, developing specifications, and overseeing its implementation and testing.
  • Contribute to software resource plans and release schedules.
  • Develop and maintain SIL, HIL, and other test systems.
  • Promote the implementation of software development best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or similar.
  • Extensive experience within a software development environment.
  • Experience with MATLAB Simulink code generation for embedded systems, including the setup of tool chains.
  • Proficiency with C/C++.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, Flexray, and Ethernet.
  • Use of calibration, diagnostic, and measurement tools such as CANalyzer, ETAS, and F1 SECU tools.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
  • Clear and concise communication.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
  • Strong levels of IT skills, including MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Positive contribution to an open and inclusive culture.
