Job Title: Software Developer with DevOps Expertise

Envision Racing Formula E is a leading Formula E Team seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer with DevOps expertise, you will play a crucial role in improving the on-track performance of our racing operations through in-house software development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain custom off-car software tools to enhance the work efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making of the race team.
  • Collaborate with the Software Engineering group to improve the overall performance of our racing operations.
  • Design, develop, and deploy software solutions using Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Work closely with the Senior Engineer to ensure the successful implementation of software development projects.
  • Contribute to the development of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Experience with professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing.
  • Advantageous experience with GraphQL, FastAPI, MongoDB, C#, and.NET.
  • Ability to support DevOps with knowledge in Kubernetes and database systems.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship professional software engineering experience.
