Exciting Opportunity: A position for a Quality Assurance Specialist has become available within a dynamic organization.


As a vital member of the quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products manufactured in the fabrication and welding sectors meet customer specifications while upholding the company's commitment to safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of fabricated and welded components – including dimensional, visual, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to verify quality standards.
  • Calibrate and validate monitoring and measuring tools before use.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to clarify inspection and testing protocols.
  • Work with the goods inward team to inspect raw materials, components, and related certifications.
  • Assist the production team with in-process inspections and testing of manufactured components.
  • Ensure product traceability and compliance with required standards.
  • Identify and quarantine non-conforming parts, ensuring accurate reporting of all product discrepancies.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities and investigations related to product or process non-conformance.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support overall quality performance.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Relevant experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Skilled in manual inspection techniques using tools such as tapes, rules, and squares.
  • Able to produce clear and concise inspection reports, familiar with both metric and imperial measurement systems.
  • CSWIP 3.1 certification is preferred.
  • PCN Level 2 certification in Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI).
  • PCN Level 2 certification in Dye Penetrant Inspection.
