Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care and support to residents
  • Manage the day-to-day needs of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Deliver high-quality care that meets the needs of each resident, including assistance with daily activities, meals, and personal care
  • Ensure all areas of the care home are clean, tidy, and well-maintained
  • Support family members and visitors, providing them with information and reassurance
  • Assist with medication administration and other care-related tasks

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willingness to sign up or work towards it)
  • Trained in medication administration
  • Excellent people and customer service skills
  • Ability to induct and supervise junior staff
  • Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) and digital skills
  • Caring attitude and flexible, reliable approach
