Position Overview
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an Administrative Support Officer to join our dedicated team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and organizing the maternity Electronic Patient Records (EPR) referral process, facilitating the scheduling of appointments for new pregnancies and transfers of care.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently while coordinating activities to ensure a seamless service for our users.
You will be expected to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with the public and staff, handling sensitive and confidential information with care and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering comprehensive clerical assistance to clinical services.
- Scheduling appointments for service users in clinics.
- Responding to telephone inquiries regarding the referral process and assisting patients in navigating and completing the process.
- Reaching out to service users without internet access to assist them in completing referral forms.
- Ensuring timely access for patients to initial pregnancy appointments with the appropriate midwife.
- Inputting data into computerized systems as required.
- Providing clerical support to the Community Midwifery team as needed.

Required Qualifications
Essential
- Proficient understanding of general office equipment, including computers and fax machines.
- Familiarity with clerical and administrative systems and processes.
- Recent experience with Microsoft 365.

Educational Background
