About the Role

Barings is seeking a skilled professional to join its global client onboarding function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end onboarding of new separately managed client accounts and fund onboardings. This role requires strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work closely with internal teams and clients to deliver a superior client experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate post-sale client coverage and ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Coordinate with internal operational teams and shared services to ensure timely and efficient onboarding
  • Negotiate contracts and investment guidelines with clients
  • Work with transfer agents to ensure AML/KYC processes are followed and client accounts are opened on a timely basis
  • Prioritize client implementation activities and develop enhancements to Barings' implementation processes
Requirements
  • 5+ years of asset management experience
  • Experience in client onboarding, project management, or transitions implementation
  • Prior AML/KYC experience a plus
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and clients
  • Experience with BPM and/or CRM software a plus
