We are seeking an exceptional English Language and Literature Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse abilities and needs.
- Collaborate with the English Department to ensure cohesive and effective teaching practices.
- Contribute to the school's pastoral care and community development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain a sense of curiosity and ambition.
- Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are fully adhered to, protecting the welfare of all pupils.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong passion for English Language and Literature, with an energetic and accessible teaching style.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to inspire confidence and curiosity in pupils.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that challenge and support pupils of diverse abilities and needs.
- Skilled at adapting teaching styles to suit individual situations, fostering an environment where pupils feel confident to ask questions and share ideas.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and data analysis skills, with the ability to report clearly on outcomes.
- Competence in using ICT to support teaching and learning, as well as data management.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure and prioritize effectively.
