Admissions Assistant for SEND and Alternative Provisions

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Assistant to join our SEND Specialist Provision and Funding Placements Team at Norfolk County Council.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Compile and distribute complex agendas to facilitate effective consultation processes with schools.
- Manage complex diaries to arrange multiple admissions decision-making forums between local authority officers and schools, ensuring timely and efficient decision-making.
- Maintain confidential records and document sharing facilities to support the consultation process and comply with GDPR regulations.
- Take minutes from admissions panels and decision-making forums, capturing complex information succinctly and accurately.
- Communicate admissions decisions to internal teams, schools, and families in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide administrative support to SEND & AP Admissions Officers/Coordinators and complete delegated tasks.
- Ensure excellent safeguarding practices are maintained, promoting the safety and welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults in line with service policy and procedure.
