Deputy Manager Opportunity at Nicholas James Care Homes Ltd

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Nicholas James Care Homes Ltd, a leading provider of nursing, dementia, and residential care in East Sussex.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled and compassionate individual to oversee the operations of one of our care homes. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents and providing leadership and direction to staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Champion resident care by overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, including medication administration and adherence to care plans.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to maintain regulatory compliance and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home facility.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
  • Supervise and train care staff on best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and foster continuous improvement by regularly evaluating care and implementing changes.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

Proven experience in healthcare, preferably in dementia care or senior care.Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices.NVQ Level 3 or above in Leadership and Management in Adult Care.Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.What We Offer
